En el marco de la celebración del 199 aniversario de la Anexión del Partido de Nicoya a Costa Rica, nuevamente se llevará a cabo una edición más del Torneo de Golf Guanacaste Classic gracias al esfuerzo de Reserva Conchal y Hacienda Pinilla.
Cabe destacar que en esta ocasión no será utilizado el campo de golf de Four Seasons, dado que está en proceso de remodelación, aprovechando la temporada baja del turismo.
Carlos Rojas, Profesional de Golf de Reserva Conchal, indicó que el viernes 21 de julio el torneo arrancará en Hacienda Pinilla, jugando 18 hoyos en tres categorías, el sábado 22 y domingo 23 de julio los golfistas utilizarán el campo de Reserva Conchal para completar tres rondas y definir los ganadores, tanto en las categorías Campeonato como las categorías A y B, en las que participarán golfistas femeninas y masculinos de todos los clubes del país.
Se estima que serán de 80 a 90 los participantes, algunos de los cuales son extranjeros que tienen su segunda casa en nuestro país y aprovechan el alto nivel competitivo de este evento.
Como en años anteriores parte de los ingresos que genere el Torneo de Golf Guanacaste Classic será destinado a brindar apoyo a algún proyecto social, alguna escuela de la zona, o bien refugio de animales o proyecto ambiental, todo en el marco de los programas de responsabilidad social de Reserva Conchal y de Hacienda Pinilla.
Guanacaste Classic Golf Tournament will once again bring together the best players in the country
In the framework of the celebration of the 199th anniversary of the Annexation of the Partido de Nicoya to Costa Rica, another edition of the Guanacaste Classic Golf Tournament will take place thanks to the efforts of Reserva Conchal and Hacienda Pinilla. It is worth noting that this time the Four Seasons golf course will not be used, as it is undergoing renovation during the low tourism season.
Carlos Rojas, Golf Professional at Reserva Conchal, announced that on Friday, July 21st, the tournament will kick off at Hacienda Pinilla, playing 18 holes in three categories. On Saturday, July 22nd, and Sunday, July 23rd, the golfers will use the Reserva Conchal course to complete three rounds and determine the winners in both the Championship category and the A and B categories, which will include female and male golfers from all clubs in the country.
It is estimated that there will be 80 to 90 participants, some of whom are foreigners who have a second home in our country and take advantage of the high level of competition in this event.
As in previous years, a portion of the proceeds generated by the Guanacaste Classic Golf Tournament will be allocated to support a social project, a local school, an animal shelter, or an environmental project, all within the framework of the social responsibility programs of Reserva Conchal and Hacienda Pinilla.
