Una pequeña granja en la que se exhibirán cabras, ovejas, aves de corral representa la oportunidad para que los niños conozcan cómo se crían estos animales domésticos, así como los diferentes procesos para extraer la leche, producir quesos y otros derivados.
“Nuestra meta es lograr que al menos siete mil estudiantes visiten las instalaciones de la Expo Liberia del 19 al 39 de julio de las ocho a las once y treinta de la mañana y así lo estamos coordinando con los diferentes centros educativos de Liberia y cantones vecinos” comentó el Sr. Isaías Larios, Presidente de la Comisión organizadora.
Señaló que muchos niños desconocen cuál es el proceso mediante el cual se obtiene la leche o se producen los alimentos de origen animal, de ahí nuestro interés es ofrecerles charlas y talleres, además de crear conciencia sobre la importancia de la agricultura y la ganadería en el desarrollo de Guanacaste.

A small farm will be set up to exhibit goats, sheep, and poultry, providing an opportunity for children to learn about the breeding of these domestic animals and the various processes involved in milk extraction, cheese production, and other derivatives.
«Our goal is to have at least seven thousand students visit the Expo Liberia premises from July 19th to 29th, from 8:00 to 11:30 in the morning, and we are coordinating this with different educational centers in Liberia and neighboring cantons,» commented Mr. Isaías Larios, President of the organizing committee.
He pointed out that many children are unaware of the process by which milk is obtained or how animal-derived foods are produced. Therefore, their interest is to offer them talks and workshops, as well as raise awareness about the importance of agriculture and livestock in the development of Guanacaste.
