¿Qué significa esta situación en el marco de la Expo Liberia Internacional 2026? El presidente de la Cámara explica que se tiene prevista la exhibición de 27 vientres de ganado vacuno con miras a obtener material genético de alta calidad para ponerla al servicio de los productores pecuarios.
La situación radica en que estos ejemplares de la raza Brangus deben ser trasladados de Houston-Texas a Miami, para que desde esa ciudad puedan ser transportados vía aérea hasta el aeropuerto de Liberia.
“En todo lo referente al ingreso de este ganado a la Expo Liberia hemos contado con el valioso apoyo de la Embajada de Estados Unidos, la cámara de ganaderos de Houston Texas, así como el Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganadería, en una operación que tiene un costo de 80.000 dólares, todo con el fin de exponer este tipo de ganado cuya carne es altamente apreciada” comentó Isaías Rivas.

«Regarding everything related to bringing these cattle to the Liberia Expo, we have received valuable support from the United States Embassy, the Houston, Texas Cattle Ranchers’ Chamber, as well as the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, in an operation that costs $80,000, all with the purpose of exhibiting this type of cattle, whose beef is highly valued,» said Isaías Rivas.
